Kivu was invited by DFID (now FCDO) Rwanda to design and implement a short programme of support on policy influencing. The country office wanted to conduct more politically informed policy engagement and development diplomacy, either through their programmes or direct to the Government of Rwanda. Kivu assessed the existing skills and approaches of the office and developed a highly bespoke programme of advice and support including a one-day session and follow-up tailored advice.
