Most recently he has worked in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Myanmar, Nepal and Rwanda supporting local partner organisations seeking to improve and influence policy. He has designed and led several locally-led programmes which have successfully achieved policy change.
Before founding Kivu International Will worked as a senior advisor to the UK Prime Minister and to other Cabinet Ministers in the UK government, and also worked in think tanks and an international NGO. His five years as a UK government policy adviser included three years in major spending ministries and two years as a senior adviser to the Prime Minister in the No. 10 Policy Unit. He has worked in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and closely with the Delivery Unit.
