Tony Dolphin is a Kivu International Associate. Tony is an experienced economist with 40 years of experience across think tanks, the asset management industry, and the public sector. His career has included working for the UK Treasury, financial sector companies, and for a leading UK think tank – the Institute for Public Policy Research. Tony has proven ability to influence highly political policy debates in government. He has extensive experience of how to communicate economic analysis and maximise impact on policy. He also has an in-depth knowledge of all major macro-economic policy issues; fiscal policy and taxation; and labour market reform and social protection.

Tony provides high-level support across key Kivu projects and has provided support for think tanks in Myanmar; input on jobs policy for State House in Malawi; input across key economic policy issues in Zambia; and cross-cutting input and advice on the economic impacts of Covid-19.
