Jane Lonsdale

Jane Lonsdale is a Kivu International Associate. She is a specialist in adaptive management, governance and civil society, and has significant gender expertise. Jane has 20 years of development experience, including over a decade of designing and leading adaptive and politically informed projects. This experience has focused on local governance, social accountability, civil society strengthening, active citizenship, gender, women in leadership, and has often included links to peace-building and humanitarian aid. In addition to strong political and adaptive management skills, Jane has extensive policy analysis and influencing experience.

For Kivu, Jane leads our work in Myanmar supporting a group of local partners in a highly challenging local context. She has considerable Myanmar country experience over almost a decade. Additional country experience includes Tanzania and Ghana.
